NEW ORLEANS – The French Market District’s Crescent Park Bazaar will feature local artisans, food trucks, live music and more on the Mandeville Wharf in Crescent Park, where Elysian Fields meets the Mississippi River, this Saturday, October 15, 2016.
The Bazaar is held the third Saturday of fall (Sep. – Nov.) and spring (Mar. – May) months.
This Saturday, there will also be a Zack Smith Photography Workshop from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Sunrise/ Sunset Photo Walk is a chance to capture the long shadows and soft light from one of New Orleans' newest vantage points: Crescent Park. Participants will join New Orleans photographer and workshop instructor Smith to walk and shoot "VIP-style" along the park's gardens, wharfs and paths along the Mississippi River. The evening tour even ends with a cocktail.
Also at Crescent Park, will be a Landscape and Botanical Photography Workshop on Saturday, October 22, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Photographer Smith will teach the execution of landscape photography in the lush surroundings of the Piety Gardens at Crescent Park.
