BATON ROUGE (AP) — Frank's International has announced another round of layoffs from its international workforce.
The Advocate’s Billy Gunn reports the company said Wednesday that it plans to lay off another 100 workers.
Company spokeswoman Caroline Mansur, in an email, told the newspaper Frank's continues to be impacted by low energy prices and activity levels. Mansur did not say where in its workforce Frank's would implement the layoffs. She says the job losses and other company news would be addressed in a Nov. 3 conference call to discuss the company's third quarter financial results.
In May, Frank's began laying off 150 employees in Acadiana as part of a reduction of 400 to 600 that was announced in March. Those layoffs followed the acquisition of Timco Services Inc. for around $100 million.
