Four New Restaurants to Open at Treasure Chest Casino

KENNER, La. – Treasure Chest Casino, owned by Boyd Gaming Corporation, will soon be home to four new restaurants: Alder & Birch Steakhouse; The Game, a sports bar and grill;  Infusion, serving sit-down meals and quick bites; and Lakeside Café, offering Creole cuisine.

“While the Treasure Chest Casino is well known for our gaming and entertainment, we are eager to be known as a dining destination as well,” said Kim Etland, vice president and general manager for Treasure Chest Casino, in a press release. “The new restaurants will fill a demand for exceptional dining in Kenner’s Laketown area and give locals and tourists alike a new reason to visit Kenner.”

“Our team takes great pride in what we have to offer at Treasure Chest Casino,” said Gregory Nay, the casino’s food and beverage director. “From the menu to the atmosphere, we have focused on making each new restaurant unique and exciting for diners. We cannot wait to open our doors late this spring.”

Treasure Chest opened in 1994 as a 25,000-square-feet dockside casino on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain in Kenner. A nearly complete, $100 million expansion project will result in a 47,000-square-foot, land-based facility, due to open in late spring.
