Forbes: New Orleans One Of America’s Coolest Cities; For Small Business? Not So Much

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans has been ranked fourth in the nation on Forbes 2017 list of “America’s Coolest Cities.” 

         To develop the list, Forbes partnered with Sperling’s Best Places, and measured the 100 largest MSAs in the U.S. with nine metrics in two basic categories: lifestyle preferences and population vitality.

         According to Forbes, the Crescent City’s strengths are its bars and clubs, coffee shops and beer breweries.

         As for weaknesses, it finds New Orleans lacks in small business growth and net migration.
