METAIRIE, La. – Food Fight, presented by Stella Artois, is scheduled for Thursday, March 14 at the Shrine on Airline in Metairie.
The culinary competition, organized by Yeah You Right Events, supports the Please Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing mentorship, leadership training and scholarships for area teens.
“We’ve outgrown the available downtown locations. We like the idea of being trendsetters and doing events in unique locations,” said event producer Shane Finkelstein. “We are going to turn the rugby field at the Shrine on Airline into a wonderland of gourmet goodness.”

The event will feature live music from James Andrews and the Crescent City All-Stars, and Honey Island Swamp Band.
