NEW ORLEANS — Fisher & Phillips LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, announced that Edward F. Harold has been promoted to Regional Managing Partner of the New Orleans and Gulfport offices.
Harold joined the Fisher & Phillips New Orleans office as an associate in 2002 and was named partner in 2004. Today, Harold is chair of the firm's Retail Industry Practice Group. His practice is primarily devoted to employment litigation in both state and federal court in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, and counseling employers to avoid litigation.
“The opportunity to be the leader of the New Orleans office is an exciting new challenge,” Harold said of the promotion. “I look forward to working with our lawyers to help our clients thrive in the face of increased regulation of employers.”

Having graduated from Louisiana State University’s Law Center in 1992, Harold has been practicing law for 23 years with 21 of those years devoted exclusively to representing management in labor and employment law matters. Throughout his career, he has spent significant time and attention assisting employers in managing employee attendance and leave issues.
