NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans-based First NBC Holding Co. reports its second-quarter profit grew to $16.8 million, or 88 cents per share, compared to $12.4 million, or 65 cents per share, a year ago.
The Advocate reports the company's performance was helped by more than doubling its ATM fees to $1.2 million.
First NBC outperformed Wall Street's expectations. Stock analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research had forecast earnings of 84 cents per share.
First NBC had total assets of $4.1 billion as of June 30, up 16.2 percent from $3.5 billion a year earlier.
