First Bank And Trust Appoints New Advisory Board Members

NEW ORLEANS First Bank and Trust announced the appointment of three business leaders to the bank’s Advisory Board. The new members of the First Bank and Trust Baton Rouge Advisory Board are Sebastian Alvarez, G. Steven Duplechain and Tom Holden.

         Alvarez is an Executive Vice President of the Alvarez Construction Company, and he received a Landscape Architecture degree from Louisiana State University. Alvarez is also a board member for McMains Children’s Developmental Center, which helps children suffering from physical disabilities and the Baton Rouge Growth Coalition, which ensures a healthy business environment for land development companies in Baton Rouge.

         Duplechain is a manager at GSD Development Company who has also practiced law for more than 30 years in Baton Rouge. Duplechain played integral roles in developing numerous commercial and residential properties around Baton Rouge. He has also served as an adjunct professor for the past seven years at Louisiana State University.

         Tom Holden founded Holden Architects, a full-service professional design firm, in 1981. Holden has a diversified practice which specializes in the hospitality, educational and food service industries, and the firm serves the southeastern part of the United States.
