Determined to work at Postlethwaite & Netterville (P&N) before she even earned her degree in Finance, Katherine Torres found a natural fit in the firm’s consulting services practice. Beginning her career with P&N as a staff member in Forensic and Valuation Services, Katherine has spent the past 15 years building a comprehensive skill set through working in every area of P&N’s consulting practice, including Control & Risk, Programs, Business Transformation Services, and Outsourced Business Services.
Now a Director, Katherine manages and leads the firm’s Outsourced Business Services practice to support clients’ ongoing business operations. Her areas of focus include outsourced accounting, special or “one-time” project strategy and staffing, and professional association management. Katherine’s sweeping experience within the firm’s consulting services practice allows her to develop and coordinate interdisciplinary teams that provide robust support to the firm’s clients.
A firm believer that–even in finance–a majority of the job is interpersonal; Katherine puts an emphasis on developing and challenging the people she leads.
“While we always stay on the forefront of the technical space, a major part of my role is growing and developing people,” says Katherine. “The best part of my job is seeing team members experience the satisfaction of attaining their goals.”
