HOUMA, LA (AP) — Film crews are once again scouring the bayous of rural southeast Louisiana in search of talented unknown children to fill lead and supporting roles in an upcoming movie.
The Courier’s Chris Leblanc reports Court 13, a New Orleans-based production company, is in search of non-professional child actors age 5-10 to fill lead and supporting roles in a still unnamed movie that will be filmed primarily on the outskirts of New Orleans.
Benh Zeitlin, director and co-writer of "Beasts of the Southern Wild" and his sister and coworker Eliza will collaborate on the new fantasy film.
