NEW ORLEANS – Fidelity Bank of Louisiana is stepping up to help hundreds of victims from Louisiana’s recent historic floods by hosting a crawfish boil today, Thursday, April 7, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross of Southeast Louisiana.
The crawfish boil will take place at Fidelity Bank’s Hammond location at 500 C M Fagan Dr., in Hammond.
New Orleans Crawfish King Al Scramuzza will make an appearance to personally thank the first responders and take pictures with guests.
Residents of Southeast Louisiana are urged to participate in the event where they can enjoy boiled crawfish for $10 a tray and live music by the Justin McCain Project.
The crawfish boil is free to all emergency responders in Tangipahoa Parish to thank them for their bravery during the historic flooding that recently ravaged the Northshore.
Fidelity Bank, which has two branches in Tangipahoa Parish and another 16 throughout Southeast Louisiana, is asking the community to support the American Red Cross by attending the event and purchasing crawfish which can be enjoyed on-site or for takeout.
