NEW ORLEANS – Fidelity Bank’s Chairman Katie Crosby announced native New Orleanian Mark Romig has been named to the Bank’s Board of Directors.
Romig’s appointment follows the retirement of Allain C. Andry, III who served for 43 years. Romig is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the New Orleans’ Tourism Marketing Corporation.
Crosby said, “Mark’s diverse portfolio of public relations and marketing work spans more than 35 years. We know his marketing, public relations perspective, skills and knowledge will be an asset for Fidelity Bank’s leadership team.”
Currently, Romig serves as Volunteer President and CEO of the 2018 NOLA Foundation, the non-profit agency organizing the New Orleans' tricentennial celebration. Other board affiliations include the Audubon Nature Institute, Executive Committee Member of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association, Covenant House of New Orleans, Emeril Lagasse Foundation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Tourism and Travel Advisory Council.
In addition, Romig is the Voice of the New Orleans Saints. In 2013, he was named stadium announcer for the Saints, a position formerly held by his father.
