NEW ORLEANS – Expotel Hospitality announced the appointment of Nicholas Cooper as general manager of the newly opened Holiday Inn New Orleans Airport North. Nicholas brings more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the position.
Prior to joining Expotel Hospitality, Cooper served as General Manager and Acting General Manager for four well known hotel brands while working for Kana Hotel Group. He comes with a wealth of knowledge in management of brands such as Hampton Inn and Home 2 Suites, Hilton Garden Inn and Courtyard by Marriott, reps said. Cooper had numerous achievements while managing these properties including top guest service scores for Marriott resulting in the Marriott Gold Award, Trip Advisor rankings as top Hotel in the market, and exceeding year over year budget expectations.

The Holiday Inn New Orleans Airport North is located at 1300 Veterans Blvd. in Kenner, Louisiana, just across from the Louis Armstrong International Airport. This brand-new property boasts 121 guest rooms, 1,300 square feet of meeting space, a pool area and a full restaurant and bar.
