StartUp Northshore will host “Employment Fundamentals,” a workshop for businesses developing their employment practices, from noon to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Palette Northshore, 201 Holiday Blvd., Suite 200, Covington. Speakers Jared Miguez and Lauren Navarre will cover effective employment policies and agreements, hiring practices and organizational accountability. The workshop is part of the August SSBCI Workshop series presented with Louisiana Economic Development and LA.IO. Registration is available through StartUp Northshore.
