METAIRIE, LA – Matthew Morales, P.E. and Sean Walsh, P.E. were promoted recently to project managers at Eustis Engineering L.L.C., a geotechnical engineering firm headquartered in Metairie, LA, with offices in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Lake Charles and Gulfport, MS.
Morales has worked in both the Metairie and Baton Rouge offices for eight years and Walsh has worked in Eustis Engineering’s Metairie office for five years.
Morales’ expertise lies in dynamic pile testing and analyses. He has performed dynamic pile testing on more than 70 projects in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Iowa. Morales has also provided design and construction recommendations for many industrial projects in southern Louisiana.
Walsh has provided design and construction recommendations for many flood protection and coastal restoration projects in southeastern Louisiana; the most recent of these comprise multiple segments of the Morganza to the Gulf system in Terrebonne and Lafourche Parishes. Walsh was nationally recognized in 2014 by the American Society of Civil Engineers as part of its “New Faces of Civil Engineering.” He is a graduate of NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering.
