A Louisiana native and mortgage industry professional for more than 30 years, Ross Miller is on the board of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB). In this episode, he shares some shocking facts about how insurance works in Louisiana and the efforts his organization is fighting for on the local and national levels.

Ross Miller has been an active member of the greater New Orleans mortgage community since 1993. He currently serves as a board member with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) the first and only national membership-led and volunteer-driven organization representing the interests of mortgage brokers and home buyers since 1973 and is owner of Miller Home Mortgage located in Metairie, Louisiana.
In his role as NAMB volunteer board member, Miller has served the organization’s finance committee, GA subcommittee on Flood Insurance along with its communication committee. Ross has been a board member with NAMB since 2022.
Miller is also a member of the Louisiana Mortgage Lenders Association and served as president of the prestigious group in 2012.
For the past 25-years Miller has also been affiliated with New Orlean’s-based nonprofit Fore!Kids Foundation where he has acted as both a board member and charity committee leader where he has helped spearhead over $2.5 million dollars in fundraising for the organization.
