Environmental Leadership

Green Marine, the Environmental Protection Agency and other organizations have recognized the Port of New Orleans for its environmental programs and its commitment to sustainable development. Initiatives such as the Clean Truck Replacement Incentive Program (Clean TRIP) and By-You Drainscapes are just a few of the Port-led programs. Port NOLA works with contractors, tenants, operators, customers, community organizations and all stakeholders to meet and exceed environmental requirements.
