NEW ORLEANS – Energy Smart and LifeCity will host a Energy & Money Savings Workshop Friday, Aug. 4, at the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, 1515 Poydras St., from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Organizers said attendees will learn about energy efficiency opportunities available to local businesses through Energy Smart.
“We saved over $50,000 at the Audubon Aquarium by simply installing more efficient lighting,” Richard Toth, VP and managing director of Downtown Facilities, Audubon Aquarium, said. “Saving money on utilities allows us to reinvest in our mission.”
The event costs $10 for Chamber and LifeCity members and $20 for general tickets.
Lunch will be included.
Parking will be available at the 1515 Poydras St. garage (enter from Freret Street) and the HEAL Parking Garage, 300 LaSalle St.
This is a limited seating event. Reps said early registration is highly encouraged.
