Employee Benefits Attorney Joins Jackson Lewis in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS – Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, announced that Robert W. Rachal has joined the firm’s New Orleans office. Rachal joins the firm from Holifield Janich Rachal Ferrera, PLLC, where he focused his practice on complex ERISA litigation and advising fiduciaries. Details were shared in a press release.

Rachal has focused his practice on complex ERISA fiduciary, benefits and executive compensation litigation, including defending DOL investigations, and advising ERISA fiduciaries, for the past 25 years. Mr. Rachal counsels companies, plan providers and plan fiduciaries in all types of complex ERISA litigation, DOL investigations, and fiduciary issues.

This includes claims related to ESOPs, 401(k) fees, pension plans and executive compensation. Rachal frequently represents Fortune 500 companies, as well as small and mid-size employers from various industries. He also advises organizations on issues that arise in complex ERISA litigation and benefits claim processing, and is a frequent lecturer and writer on a wide variety of benefits matters.
