Emeril’s New Orleans Restaurants Launch Summer Specials, Menus

NEW ORLEANS – This summer Emeril’s Restaurant, NOLA and Emeril’s Delmonico will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy special prix fixe four-course meals celebrating the season.

         From Wednesday, July 1, to Monday, August 31, 2015, all three restaurants will be participating in Emeril’s annual Taste of Summer series which highlights refreshing flavors through a $45 customizable rotating tasting dinner menu with an optional wine pairing. With two choices per course, locals and visitors alike will enjoy the exceptional flavors and value of each restaurant’s special menus.

Emeril’s Restaurant – 800 Tchoupitoulas St.:

         Every evening Emeril’s will showcase four-courses filled with classic summertime fare created by Chef de Cuisine David Slater.

         Guests can indulge in a revolving list of seasonal specialties at a fixed price, with featured appetizers like Charred Tomato – watermelon gazpacho, crisp ricotta and blue crab squash blossom and BBQ Carrots with smoke chicken, arugula, toasted hazelnuts, olives and Harissa, making appearances on the menu. Additional dishes on offer during the series will include Southern favorites like the Gulf Fish Crudo with a peach and beet panzanella and Flank Steak “Sandwich” served on house-made flatbread, heirloom tomatoes, shishito peppers, fried onions and chermoula.

         Diners will also be treated to an array of decadent desserts such as Sour Cream Crème Brûlée – St. Germaine blackberries and honeydew, and Watermelon Baked Alaska – watermelon sorbet, angel food cake and lime.

         A mainstay in the French Quarter, NOLA will celebrate summer’s arrival with a menu featuring restaurant favorites crafted by newly appointed Chef De Cuisine Brian Mottola. There will be an alternating list of Southern-inspired plates such as Fried Green Tomatoes – roasted corn, fresh crabmeat, white remoulade and pepper jelly, Pan Seared Scallops – English pea puree, sweet pickled radish and mint pesto, as well as refreshing salads like the Tomato Watermelon Salad – chili lime vinaigrette, toasted pistachio and feta cheese. Other course selections not to be missed include a Chorizo & Crawfish Pasta – angel hair pasta, cherry tomatoes, mint and shiitake mushrooms; and an assortment of luscious Louisianan desserts like the Molten Creole Chocolate Cake with raspberry sorbet, chocolate coco nib bark and fresh raspberries.

 

Emeril’s Delmonico – 1300 St. Charles Ave.:

         Emeril’s modern creole dining destination will also be showcasing its own spin on seasonable dishes. Prepared by Chef de Cuisine Anthony Scanio, the menu will offer guests their choice of varying classic creole dishes such as Confit Pork Cheek with creole dirty rice, Corn & Crab Bisque with crab calas and Pan Roasted Lamb Chops – grilled artichoke, tomato braised chickpeas and mint chimichurri. Rounding out the menu, standout desserts will include a Vanilla Panna Cotta – roasted peaches, pistachio shortbread and crushed frozen strawberries and Turtle Brownie Sundae – dulce de leche ice cream, chocolate sauce and toasted pecans.

 

         Summer tasting menu dishes are subject to change, and available during dinner service only. Price does not include tax and gratuity. Menu is not available for private parties.
