NEW ORLEANS – Whole Foods Market Broad Street, Solar Alternatives and Nissan Motors will host Electric Vehicle Day NOLA 2015, New Orleans’ first electric vehicle expo, at 300 N. Broad St., on Saturday, November 7, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The event will showcase vehicles and exhibitors with the opportunity to learn more about a fast-growing technology from owners, manufacturers and area experts. The expo will feature at least six electric vehicles, demonstration charging systems from ChargePoint and a mobile solar generator system.
The event is free and open to the public.
Whole Foods Broad Street features two electric vehicle-charging stations (EVCS) with complimentary recharging for customers.
Located at 5600 Magazine St., Whole Foods Market Arabella Station also offers two EVCS in designated parking spaces with complimentary recharging services.
