METAIRIE, LA – Tex-mex troubadours, El Paso Mexican Grill, bring their authentic, 3rd generation Mexican recipes to a new location at 601 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie, LA, that is scheduled to open Monday, February 22, 2016, but not before getting their hands dirty.
El Paso owners not only oversee the day to day operations in all of their 19 restaurants located in Louisiana and Florida, they were also completely hands on in the complete renovation of their new Metairie building, formerly occupied and made famous by Ralph and Kacoos.
The proprietors enjoy customizing each new space to reflect the décor of the Mexican homes of their childhood.
The new location features a custom oval bar as well as custom, traditional brick-work, outdoor patio with seating and a giant retractable glass doors to open in temperate weather.
This new Metairie location will appeal to residents looking for a more urban experience without actually venturing all the way into Orleans parish, restaurant reps said.
The oval bar creates a lively, social waiting area with a variety of classic and contemporary frozen margaritas spinning behind the bar. Rotating daily specials will feature a broad selection of authentic recipes made fresh, in-house, daily using high-quality ingredients, restaurant reps said.
The El Paso Team will celebrate the opening of the Veterans location with live music and drink specials next week.
Foodies and live music fans can sign-up for the location’s email list on Facebook to receive emails with band announcements, upcoming promotions and coupons to use at the new location.
Sports enthusiast will enjoy complete coverage of all major sporting events on any of the restaurant’s 16 flat screen TV’s.
El Paso boasts priority parking for take-out customers as well as military veterans, expecting mothers, emergency vehicles and persons with disabilities.
El Paso Metairie will be open 7 days a week; Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
