FAIRFIELD, LA (AP) — Lacey Bordelon has been named deputy director of the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission.
Bordelon will direct the organization's business retention and expansion program and efforts to attract new business to Jefferson Parish.
She joined the organization in 2007 as an economic development specialist before being promoted to director of economic development services.

Bordelon holds a master's degree in urban and regional planning from the University of New Orleans.
