METAIRIE, LA – ECM Consultants, Inc. announced Kazem Alikhani, P.E. as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Alikhani's years as Public Works Director will provide ECM a distinctive opportunity to improve infrastructure in the region, ECM reps said. As Director, he was responsible for overseeing nine departments under the Public Works organization including Drainage, Sewerage, Water, Streets, Engineering, Capital Projects, Parkways, Floodplain Management and Hazard Mitigation and Environmental Affairs.
ECM reps said Alikhani brings extensive experience and education including a M.S. in Engineering with a concentration in Civil Engineering, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans, and that his education and experience will enhance the company by continuing to provide planning, engineering, architectural and construction management services to company clients.
