NEW ORLEANS — Upscale brunch restaurant Easy Virtue is now open at 878 Fulton Street in the Warehouse District. Executive Chef Chad Roldan helms the kitchen at this brunch spot and evening cocktail destination that features indoor and outdoor dining, a 36-seat central bar and a private dining room that can accommodate up to 50 guests.
The 2,640-square-foot restaurant is connected to the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District on Convention Center Boulevard. Trapolin Peer Architects and contractor Donahue Favret led a renovation and redesign of the bar and restaurant that previously occupied the space. The standalone entrance on Fulton is new.
Roldan’s menu combines whimsy and nostalgia. The Pig Pop Tart features cochon de lait inside a pastry drizzled with a Crystal Hot Sauce glaze. The Jones is an oversized, homemade cinnamon bun topped with chocolate-maple bacon and Chantilly icing. Lighter options include quiche, a roasted beet salad and avocado toast.
On the brunch cocktail menu, Cereal Milk Punch, Y’all is Buffalo Trace bourbon shaken with cereal-infused milk, rimmed with crushed cereal. Be Patient, Veruca combines blueberry vodka with blueberry-infused syrup, fresh blueberries, and freshly squeezed lemon. There’s also a selection of champagnes, sparkling wines, and champagne cocktails. And Easy Virtue serves more than 100 high-end bourbons and whiskeys.
The restaurant offers free valet parking for up to three hours at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District (859 Convention Center Boulevard).
Easy Virtue serves brunch from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, mid-day dining from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and dinner starting at 5 p.m. daily. The bar is open from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
