Due To Severe Weather, The French Market Is Closed Today

NEW ORLEANS – The French Market Corporation offices and all French Market District retail and public properties will be closed today, Friday, March 11, 2016, due to severe weather.

         The open air Flea and Farmers Markets, Crescent Park, the Shops on the Colonnade and the Shops at the Upper Pontalba will all be closed today. All walking tours and programs are cancelled.

         The French Market District spans from the Shops at the Upper Pontalba on Jackson Square to the Crescent Park along the River, with over 40 retail establishments and eateries in between. The open air markets include a variety of eateries and cart food vendors, arts and craft vendors, and over 200 flea market vendors.
