NEW ORLEANS – Dudley DeBosier, a personal injury law firm with offices throughout the state of Louisiana, is offering free cab rides home through Uber on March 17, the date of the New Orleans St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This is part of Dudley DeBosier’s “Safe Ride Home” initiative whereby the firm offers to pick up the tab for cab rides on dates that typically have high incidents of drunk driving.
Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers created this program to reduce the amount of drinking and driving that may occur during St. Patrick’s Day weekend and other holidays. The firm would like parade-goers to be able to safely and responsibly enjoy the festivities.
Managing partner at Dudley DeBosier, Chad Dudley, states, “We saw the number of DUI arrests for this weekend in 2017 decrease by about 50% in Baton Rouge compared to the previous year and we hope to play a part in decreasing that number even more this year!”
Free rides are only available from a destination that begins within the city limits of New Orleans and must go to a place of residence. The cost of the ride is capped at $25. To take advantage of this free safe ride home, please visit online to register at https://goo.gl/kBTZ3k
The deadline to register is Friday, March 16, at 4:00 p.m. (CST). Once registered, participants will receive an email confirmation containing a $25 Uber credit code valid on Saturday, March 17, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST).
