NEW ORLEANS – Throughout the month of October, DTB, 8201 Oak St., Suite 1, will be running a promotion in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For every Silver Dollar ($12) cocktail sold, $1 will go toward the Drew Rodrigue Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
Made with El Charro Tequila, fresh pressed watermelon juice, ginger, and lime, this pink drink packs a punch and is the perfect cocktail to honor brave fighters and survivors, restaurant reps said. The drink is available during brunch, lunch, dinner and Happy Hour at full price.
Reps said to enjoy your Silver Dollar with $5 sociables during Happy Hour, including Chef Carl Schaubhut’s signature mushroom boudin balls – smoked mayo, pickled collards; charbroiled oyster gratin – smoked oysters, parmesan béchamel, gremolata; or the andouille pate – pickled quail egg, cucumber, mustard, black garlic toast.
The restaurant serves dinner Monday – Thursday from 5:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Brunch is served Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Happy Hour is Monday – Friday from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the bar and bar tables.
