NEW ORLEANS — On June 21-24, Dress for Success New Orleans will host a “Blowout Moving Sale” Fundraiser in their current space at 6117 Magazine before relocating to a larger, more centrally located space (1700 Josephine Street). The fundraiser will aid the organization in moving costs.
“Throughout the year, we receive many beautiful items from the generous women in our Community,” says Board President of Dress for Success New Orleans Meaghan Bonavita. “However, some items are not appropriate for our clients to wear during interviews or to work, and in some cases, we are overstocked in certain sizes. We have styles ranging from casual, to work and evening wear."
"This Blowout Moving Sale fundraiser will also raise more awareness about the many programs we offer that change the lives of our clients. And change is what Dress for Success New Orleans offers — through a continuum of services as women transition from being unemployed and searching, to recently employed and adjusting, to gainfully employed and succeeding. And it all starts with a suit. We encourage everyone to come out for amazing prices on terrific women’s clothing. The event is a lot of fun and it supports a very worthy cause.”
The sale will take place Thursday, June 21 and Friday, June 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
