BATON ROUGE – Success Labs welcomes Dr. Melissa Thompson to its team of expert people strategy consultants.
“We are excited to have Melissa on board,” says Devin Lemoine, Success Labs’ owner and president. “She brings a unique skillset and significant experience coaching leaders to grow their influence and communicate their ideas effectively.”
Thompson’s areas of expertise include communication theory and practice, public speaking, emotional intelligence and talent development. She has long used her skills to train and develop others, through her professional work and as an adjunct instructor in business communications at LSU. As a founding member of the TEDxLSU production team, she has created a valuable forum for emerging local leaders to train in these skills and showcase their ideas to the community.
“In my work, I’m a big believer that you can have the best skills and best ideas in the world, but if you can’t articulate it well, it’s hard to turn it into action,” she said. “Communicating effectively helps change move beyond one person, which leads to better team building, better results, and more impact in the community.”
