NEW ORLEANS — Red River Bank has named Douglas “Doug” Ferrer senior vice president and commercial banker for the greater New Orleans market. A lifelong St. Tammany resident, he earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Louisiana Tech and then earned his MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University. He brings more than 37 years of commercial banking expertise to the team.
“We are so fortunate to have Doug on our team,” said Meghan Donelon, Red River market president. “Not only does he bring an exceptional resume and skillset from both a credit and lending perspective, but his desire to expand our presence in St. Tammany is real. I’m excited to see what he can do for the businesses of this area and for Red River Bank.”
“I’m so grateful for the tremendous opportunity before me to help shape and advance this area,” said Ferrer. “I’ve been a part of this community since the dirt was established. It’s my home. I genuinely care about the people here. That’s why, with 37 years in banking behind me, I can testify, Red River Bank is an ideal fit for the Northshore. We’re going to do great things.”
Red River Bank is a Louisiana state-chartered bank established in Alexandria, La., in 1999. It operates a network of 27 banking centers throughout the state and one combined loan and deposit production office in New Orleans.
