NEW ORLEANS – DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans is celebrating National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day with a one-of-a-kind experience.
On Monday, May 15, the DoubleTree will open a Chocolate Chip Cookie Drive-Thru to treat visitors to complimentary, warm DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies.
The Crescent City hotel, located at 300 Canal St., is also celebrating by putting a New Orleans spin on the delicious holiday with its exclusive, decadent DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookie-Stuffed Beignet that will leave guests’ mouths watering, hotel reps said. The dessert will be available to visitors, along with the hotel’s classic chocolate chip cookie, at the Chocolate Chip Cookie Drive-Thru from 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Since 1986, the DoubleTree by Hilton has served more than 250 million warm, cookies to guests. The brand began giving out chocolate chip cookies in the 1980s as treats for VIPs. In 1986, the secret recipe was developed so every hotel could offer the same sweet treat. The recipe became a brand standard that still exists today at all DoubleTree by Hilton hotels, which ensures that the same, delicious cookie is delivered consistently at every DoubleTree by Hilton location, hotel reps said.
