NEW ORLEANS – The law firm of Adams and Reese announced that New Orleans Partner Johnny L. Domiano, Jr. has been appointed Partner in Charge of the New Orleans office, by Managing Partner Guilford F. Thornton, Jr.
Adams and Reese has Partners in Charge for each of its 16 offices across the southern United States and Washington DC. Domiano will serve in this capacity in New Orleans, alongside current Senior Partner in Charge E. Paige Sensenbrenner.
“Johnny has practiced in our New Orleans office for 20 years and provided invaluable leadership skills and assistance in many of our firm-wide projects and growth strategies, and we are confident that his great leadership skills will benefit our New Orleans office and the firm as a whole,” Thornton said. “Johnny’s ability to manage a successful litigation practice while having an impact on the New Orleans community in several leadership roles demonstrates his ability to handle multiple responsibilities, and those characteristics will greatly benefit him as Partner in Charge.”

A litigation partner at Adams and Reese since 1996, Domiano has developed extensive experience in many areas of the law, including commercial litigation, D&O liability, securities litigation, franchise disputes, shareholder disputes, insurance and business interruption coverage, energy and maritime matters, products liability, general casualty and toxic tort. Domiano is a past Chair of the ABA’s Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee, and within the firm, he assisted unifying the firm's hiring practices and procedures across all of its offices as the former Liaison Partner in charge of recruiting.
In the New Orleans community, Domiano serves as Member at Large on the Executive Committee of the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. He formerly served as Chairman and during his tenure, the Chamber earned the distinction as the leading Chamber in Louisiana. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Jefferson Class of 2008.
Domiano earned his J.D. at Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1996, and he received his B.S. from Louisiana State University in 1993.
