NEW ORLEANS – DMD & Associates, a career consulting and outplacement firm, announced that representatives from the company have been asked to participate in different events around New Orleans and Lafayette in the coming weeks.
Reps with DMD & Associates said with millions of Americans unemployed, their firm finds it important to give back to the community by providing practical, valuable tips and tricks of the career search industry.
The upcoming events include:
• NEW ORLEANS AMERICAN MARKETING ASSOCIATION
DMD & Associates will be presenting at an event sponsored by the New Orleans Chapter of the American Marketing Association entitled, “Self-Branding Workshop: Leveraging LinkedIn.” This event is dedicated to empowering audience members to create a valuable and successful LinkedIn profile during times of transition. The workshop will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2016, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the New Orleans Yacht Club.

• WOMEN’S CONFERENCE
Danielle Dayries, CEO of DMD & Associates, has been asked to participate in the University of Lafayette Louisiana Women’s Conference panel, an event that will cover diversity and equality in the workplace. The conference will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Cajun Dome Convention Center in Lafayette, LA.
The event is open to the public.
• LOUISIANA SOCIETY OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE
Dayries was selected to serve in the conference as the student volunteer coordinator due to her work with college internships and university (Tulane, University of Lafayette, UNO, etc.) programs as the College Relations Chair for both the NOLA SHRM and ASHRM chapters.
The event, which takes place Thursday, April 7 and Friday, April 8, at the Cajun Dome Convention Center, is open for registration.
• EQUAL PAY EVENT
Dayries will be participating in a panel at a conference entitled, “Equal Pay: Game Changer Event.” This forum is dedicated to discussing the gender pay gap in professional workplaces. It will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Cannery.

• LAFAYETTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION CAREER FAIR
Dayries will be appearing as an expert guest speaker for the largest career fair in Lafayette, LA. The CEO will be speaking on topics such as personal branding, resumes and LinkedIn. The event, which takes place on Tuesday, May 10, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Cajun Dome Convention Center, is open to the public.
