DALLAS – In response to economic meltdown due to COVID-19, Nadia Mashar, a Dallas resident, has launched the national United We Cook initiative to help restaurants and food banks throughout the nation. Mashar gathered recipes from 100 independent restaurants in 24 states to create a digital cookbook.
Eight New Orleans restaurants are included:

- Cowbell
- Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse
- Domenica
- High Hat Café
- Palace Café
- Tableau
- Turkey and the Wolf
