GRETNA, LA – Dickey’s Barbecue Pit celebrates its grand opening in Gretna, at 91 Westbank Expressway, with four weeks of specials and giveaways.
The festivities kicked off Thursday, April 13, when the first 50 guests received a free barbecue treat. All guests who visited the new location received a free Big Yellow Cup. One lucky guest won free barbecue for a year.
“We welcome Robert Dunning to the Dickey’s family and congratulate him on his grand opening,” says Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “Our expansion would not be possible without hard working local owners like Robert. We look forward to bringing delicious, Texas-style barbecue to Gretna with him.”
The four-week long opening festivities include:
• Thirsty Thursdays: Guests will receive a free Big Yellow Cup with free refills all day.
• Philanthropy Fridays: “You Give, We Give” – All uniformed officers will receive 50 percent off their meal.
• Singer/Songwriter Saturdays: Enjoy tunes from local musicians every Saturday for the next four weeks.
• Kids Eat Free Sundays: Kids eat free with an adult purchase of $10 or more.
