NEW ORLEANS – DEVENEY announced the addition of Creative Director Tony Norman, Advertising Account Supervisor Julie Ward and Marketing Coordinator Luke Jones. The new hires bring more than 35 years of combined experience in creative, advertising, copywriting, account management and public relations, expanding and further complementing the existing roster of dynamic DEVENEY team members, company reps said.
“As a flourishing engagement agency, it’s imperative that we continue to enrich our already-outstanding team with high-caliber leaders capable of consistently delivering quality content and results,” DEVENEY President John Deveney, ABC, APR, Fellow PRSA, IABC Fellow, said. “Luke, Julie and Tony are all seasoned professionals, and I’m excited to see the array of expertise and innovation that they will bring to our agency and our clients.”
Norman brings 20 years of experience to his leadership role at DEVENEY. Career highlights include stewarding Zatarain’s from a small regional brand to the fourth largest dry rice mix brand in America and receiving numerous industry honors, including a Gold Effie Award for his work with the New Orleans Saints.
Ward joins DEVENEY after stints at Big Communications in Birmingham, AL, and Zehnder Communications in New Orleans. She has nearly 10 years of experience in strategic planning and execution of marketing, public relations and advertising initiatives, and her experience spans several industries, including health care, retail, hospitality, and education. She is charged with leading DEVENEY’s advertising account services team.
