NEW ORLEANS – DEVENEY has hired Creative Director Rachel Wilson to take the helm of the firm’s creative department.
Account Executive Savannah Urban and Senior Account Coordinator Brittany Cruickshank are new additions to the account services team.
The trio brings more than 20 years of combined experience, spanning expertise in copywriting, public relations, social media and overall marketing strategy.

Creative Director Wilson began her career at Grey and comes to DEVENEY from a 13-year stint at Peter A. Mayer. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in theater arts, and then found her way to the prestigious Portfolio Center, where she earned a degree in copywriting. With more than a decade of experience under her belt, Wilson has worked across multiple industries with a variety of brands, including Heineken, Kraft Foods, Vixen Vodka, AT&T, BellSouth, CenturyLink, Mellow Mushroom, New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau, Louisiana Tourism, New Orleans Hornets, Hillmar Farms, Hands On Atlanta, Hilton New Orleans Riverside, The Atlanta History Museum, New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation among others.
Account Executive Urban joined the DEVENEY advertising crew from Baton Rouge marketing firm Wright Feigley Communications. Her experience lies in leading strategy and account management across various industries, including finance, health care, retail, tourism and nonprofit. Urban earned her Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in public relations and a minor in business administration from the Manship School of Mass Communications at Louisiana State University.
Returning to DEVENEY, Senior Account Coordinator Cruickshank spent the last four years exploring Asia, with most of her time focused on teaching in South Korea. She first joined DEVENEY in 2009 upon graduating from Loyola University New Orleans. In addition to managing the agency’s associate program, Cruickshank now works on DEVENEY’s LifeCARE team, servicing health care accounts – University Medical Center New Orleans, Touro, Terrebonne General Medical Center and Peoples Health.
