Developer Negotiating to Acquire Parc Fontaine Apartment Complex

NEW ORLEANS — Watson Cohen, a local real estate development and private equity asset management firm, has announced that it is negotiating to acquire the Parc Fontaine Apartment Complex in Algiers. The company hopes to close the purchase from Ministry Outreach Foundation in the fall of 2024.

“Parc Fontaine is a beautiful apartment complex that has been on our radar for several years,” said Jarrett Cohen, principal and managing partner of Watson Cohen in a press release. “It’s our sole goal to contribute to its rich 50-year history, which involves no displacements of residents.”

“Watson Cohen wants to breathe new life into Parc Fontaine to create a better standard of living for the thousand-plus residents that live there,” said Jeremy Watson, principal and managing partner of Watson Cohen. “Healthy living conditions are critical to delivering better health outcomes overall.”
