NEW ORLEANS – Barbara Ormsby, a partner in Deutsch Kerrigan's Toxic Tort Department, has been appointed as Vice-Chair for the ABA Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Committee for 2016-2017.
Firm reps said this leadership appointment is in recognition of her commitment to the ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS), and Ormsby was selected by her peers for her knowledge and reputation among the 24,000 TIPS members.
Her term will begin on August 4th.
Ormsby has more than 12 years of experience defending asbestos, silica, benzene and other chemical exposure cases.
