Deutsch Kerrigan LLP’s Barry Helps Create Endowed Admiralty Law Scholarship, Receives Honor

NEW ORLEANS – Francis J. Barry, Jr., a partner at Deutsch Kerrigan LLP and Chair of the Tulane Admiralty Law Institute, has helped aid the Tulane Admiralty Law Institute, along with the other officers, in creating an endowed Admiralty Law scholarship for maritime law students in honor of past ALI chairmen.

“Tulane turns out a lot of well-trained maritime lawyers,” Barry said.

Barry has also recently been named the 2016 Commander Elect of the Louisiana Commandery of the Military Order of Foreign Wars. The organization was founded in 1900 and will be celebrating its 116th year in 2016.
