Keith Bergeron’s topic will cover “Closing Specifications in Louisiana: How to Comply with the Public Works Act” at the Louisiana Civil Engineering Conference and Show Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday 29, 2016, at the Pontchartrain Center. Bergeron is a former mechanical engineer who defends his clients in all aspects of construction and construction surety law with a focus on architectural and engineering defense and licensing and contractual claims.
Kelly Theard has been invited to speak at the LSU Construction Law Seminar on Friday, September 30, 2016, in Baton Rouge. During her session, she will provide a glimpse into the life of a lawyer representing design professionals. Theard defends clients in construction defect, design and professional liability, and third-party injury claims. She has been named to the Thomson Reuters "Louisiana Rising Stars" List, "The Best Lawyers in America" List, and the CityBusiness Women of the Year List, 2015.
