Desire NOLA Celebrates 10-Year Reunion By Starting $100K Grant Campaign

NEW ORLEANS – Desire NOLA will celebrate their 10-year reunion and reemergence into the Greater New Orleans community with a free Happy Hour on Friday, July 31, 2015, at the New Orleans Jazz Market, 1436 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Desire NOLA team is returning in a big way by implementing a $100,000 grant campaign to encourage civic leadership development and will be funded by program sponsorships, Desire NOLA T-shirts, and the Civic Entrepreneurship Contest.

The Happy Hour will be held at the Bolden Bar located inside the New Orleans Jazz Market. This event will serve as a return of the Desire NOLA fundraiser and a kick-start to the sponsorship program for the Civic Entrepreneur Contest. The New Orleans Jazz Market will also be donating 20% of the proceeds to Desire NOLA. Guests are invited to come and learn about the nonprofit, meet the team, socialize and help give back to the community. Fliers, T-shirt design and more information about the Civic Entrepreneur Contest will be available at the event.
