NEW ORLEANS — Dental Arts of New Orleans, one of New Orleans’ top family dentistry and orthodontic practices, will host a rebranding and ribbon cutting celebration at their 4460 General DeGaulle Drive office on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m., in partnership with the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce. Details were shared in a press release.
Dental Arts of New Orleans upholds high standards in delivering the ultimate dental and orthodontic experience for families, local business professionals and residents of the Greater New Orleans area. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff, paired with the latest technology, ensures that patients will receive exceptional care.
Dr. Gizelle Richard opened her practice in 1986 after graduating from LSU School of Dentistry. The practice was originally located in the former Village Aurora Mall, but in 2000, she built what is now the current office on General DeGaulle drive in Algiers. Richard was the 2019 Chairman of the New Orleans Dental Conference. She also serves as Chairman of the Louisiana Dental Association’s Council of Government Affairs.
“My philosophy of practice hasn’t changed in 34 years: Treat patients as I would like to be treated myself,” said Richard. “We pride ourselves on comprehensive dental care and always treatment plan with the end result in mind. We are blessed to work in a beautiful, tranquil, and state of the art facility which allows our patients to truly relax while being treated.”
In 2016, the practice became the only mother-daughter dental team in the Greater New Orleans area with the addition of Dr. Gabrielle Richard. She is a graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School and The University of Georgia. She received her dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2016. In 2018, Gabrielle completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program. She serves as operations chair for the New Orleans Dental Conference and is an avid fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
“Our mission is to provide the highest quality dental and orthodontic care available and to transform the lives of our patients in profound ways,” said Gabrielle. “We offer meticulous, uncompromising, state of the art dental and orthodontic care with a commitment to honoring every person we have the privilege to treat.”
In 2018, Dental Arts of New Orleans welcomed Dr. Brent Benoit, a board certified orthodontist. Benoit is originally from Houma, Louisiana. He received his dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2015. Following graduation, he completed an Implant Restorative Fellowship at LSU School of Dentistry in the Periodontics Department. He earned a master of science in dentistry degree and certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthodpedics from LSU School of Dentistry after completing a two-year residency in 2018.
In 2019, Benoit received his board certification in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Currently, he serves on the Craniofacial Abnormalities Team at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans and is the president-elect of the Bayou District Dental Association.
“What separates us from other dental practices is our relentless focus on the patient experience,” said Benoit. “We have a unique dental experience designed with the patient in mind. We carefully curate everything in the office from the new patient appointment down to the treatment we recommend – so our patients have the best possible experience every time they come in for an appointment.”
