NEW ORLEANS – Derek D. Bardell, an Adjunct Professor of Business Administration & Teaching and Learning at Delgado Community College, has been named the 2017 Higher Education Professional of the Year by the Louisiana Council for Exceptional Children (LACEC).
Professor Bardell is a graduate of Dillard University where he earned an undergraduate degree in Business Management/ Urban Studies and Public Policy. He also holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts and a Master of Arts degree in Civic and Cultural Management both from Tulane University and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP).
