NEW ORLEANS — The Delgado Community College Foundation will roast Gary LaGrange, President and CEO of the Port of New Orleans, at their 2015 Roast of the Town fundraising event on Friday, April 24, 2015, at the Harrah’s New Orleans Theatre, 8 Canal Pl.
John “Spud” McConnel will be the Master of Ceremonies and the event will include The Honorable Conrad Appel, Senator, District 9, C. J. Blache, Bernard Charbonnet, Captain A. J. Gibbs, Ted Falgout and Joe Toomy.
A reception and silent auction begins at 7:00 p.m., followed by dinner, the roast and a live auction.
Live auction items include cocktails and appetizers on a boathouse a Golf Getaway to Ft. Myers, FL, and a weeks stay at a condo at the Biltmore in Ashville, NC.
Gourmet dining will be provided by Acme Oyster House, Andrea’s Restaurant, John Besh Steak House, Café Giovanni, Delgado Culinary Arts, Harrah’s New Orleans, Mellow Mushroom-Metairie, Mr. Mudbug/12 Seasons, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Trinchero Family Estates.
The annual Roast of the Town fundraiser is sponsored by the Delgado Community College Foundation. Proceeds from the event will benefit scholarships and programs at Delgado.
Attendees must be 21 or older. Attire is After Five.
