Delgado Community College To Host Irma Thomas’ 75th Birthday Bash

NEW ORLEANS – Delgado Community College is honoring the beloved “Soul Queen of New Orleans,” Irma Thomas, with an event at the college’s City Park Campus in New Orleans on Saturday, February 13, 2016, from 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Thomas, a Grammy-winning singer and member of the Blues Hall of Fame, is a Delgado graduate, having attended classes as an adult in order to earn her degree in Business Studies.
