Delgado Community College and Café Reconcile Announce Partnership for Free College-Level Course

NEW ORLEANS – Café Reconcile and Delgado Community College are pleased to announce a partnership to offer Café Reconcile participants and alumni a free College and Career Readiness class starting Fall 2019 at Café Reconcile, located at 1631 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. in New Orleans. This program is made possible by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. Details were shared in a press release.

The non-credit class includes academic advising and is eligible for prior learning credit upon future enrollment at Delgado. Delgado will provide the textbook and course materials free of charge. Classes are August 19 – November 7 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 – 4:45 p.m. at Café Reconcile.

Café Reconcile Executive Director Gerald Duhon said: “Life is constant exploration. Our education never stops. Reconcile is grateful that formal educational opportunities exist for our alumni that have worked hard through our program.”
