LITTLE ROCK, AR (AP) — A dedication ceremony is scheduled next week to celebrate the completion of the final section of Interstate 49 between Texarkana, Arkansas, and Shreveport, Louisiana.
Elected officials and transportation employees from both states will participate in Monday's ceremony at 1:00 p.m. at the Arkansas-Louisiana state line on the new location of the interstate.
Interstate 49 is the north-south corridor under construction between Kansas City, Missouri and Shreveport.
