Deadline Extended for Super Bowl Supplier Diversity Program

NEW ORLEANS (press release) — The New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee and NFL announced a one-week extension for businesses to apply for the Super Bowl LIX Supplier Diversity Program. The deadline for businesses to apply has been extended to April 7.

The Super Bowl LIX Supplier Diversity Program is a unique opportunity for local, minority, woman, person with disabilities, LGBTQ+ and veteran-owned businesses within Greater New Orleans to receive professional development, gain exposure to event-based procurement knowledge, network with potential clientele, and get the opportunity to compete for contracts related to Super Bowl LIX taking place on February 9, 2025.

Diverse local businesses are needed to fulfill Super Bowl LIX sub-contracting for a full range of event production and professional services including: staging, lighting, décor, tenting, trailers, golf carts, graphic design, port-o-lets and more.

Businesses must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Super Bowl LIX Supplier Diversity Program:

  • Be at least 51% owned and operated by a minority, woman, person with disabilities, LGBTQ+ or veteran individual;
  • Provide a product or service requested by the Super Bowl LIX Supplier Diversity Program;
  • Be the direct source of the goods and services proposed in their bid;
  • Be in good standing and eligible to do business within the state of Louisiana;
  • Since February 2022, have been in operation, with an established office in any of the following parishes in the Greater New Orleans region: Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington.

To ensure equitable inclusion within the Super Bowl LIX Supplier Diversity Program, businesses are required to show proof of at least one certification from an approved national or local organization. Businesses do not need their certification completed at the time of application to the program.

Businesses looking to access the online application or wanting to learn more information, should visit this website. Businesses that completed the expression of interest form will still need to submit an online application to be considered for the program.
